Termite Treatment & Monitoring

Our Licensed Termite professionals are here to help protect your most valuable asset.

Termite Treatment, Prevention, & Certified Inspection

Termites are primarily known for destroying wood. They eat wood and organic fibers that contain cellulose. Since they don’t sleep and are active even during winter, they can eat away at the wood of your home or business 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Damage from termites is not readily noticeable, which means that activity can go on for years before you see it. Once secondary damage such as cracked walls and framing issues become visible, the termite damage is typically advanced.

At Green Pest Management, we offer:

  • Termite treatment and control for those with existing termite problems
  • Termite monitoring for those who want to catch problems early on before they get out of hand
  • Certified wood destroying inspection reports for those trying to sell or refinance their home.

Termite Treatment Process

All properties are different and unique in their own way. To gain an understanding of your property, our licensed professionals need to do an inspection. This will help them diagnose the severity of the existing problem and customize a termite treatment plan. Even with cement foundations, driveways, garages, and walkways, termites can build their mud tunnels upwards to get to the wooden framework. To take care of your termite problem the entire foundation needs to be treated, to keep termites from eating one part of your property and moving to another.

 1.

Before any product is applied, our licensed professionals have to prepare the area by removing debris from around your structure’s foundation to keep from hindering the process of injection and product application.

2.

Our technicians then treat  by pumping product deep under ground around the structure’s foundation. The termites take it back and transfer it to the rest of the colony effectively eliminating the problem.

Termite Prevention and Monitoring

As a home or business owner, something you can do to help with termite prevention is understanding their behaviors. Making your property less appealing to termites can keep them from creating their colony close by. In addition, we recommend a Termite Monitoring System. Our professionals install pods around your structure which allows for multiple points to see if there is termite activity. As our technicians treat your structure, they check the pods for any possible indicators that termites are in the vicinity. For more details and pricing give us a call and we’ll be happy to answer any of your questions.
